Carrie started working with our son in June of 2018 to help with dyslexia and dysgraphia. Her approach has us witnessing improvements beyond our imagination. He is decoding words and reading sentences that we didn’t think were possible just months earlier. Not only is her technique working, but she is encouraging, knowledgeable, and extremely patient. This is so important as our son has ADHD and anxiety as well. Before Carrie, he used to dread any extra help to the point many days it was futile and we would cancel sessions. Now he doesn’t complain - a definite by product of her demeanor and his growing confidence. His confidence is so high, that he is a helper at school with other kids who have reading challenges as well. We highly recommend Maple Grade Tutoring for any struggling readers!
